This reclad of an existing office building in Milan, designed by MAB Arquitectura, features an economical, and carefully detailed facade solution. The facade design includes aluminum framed window wall systems, aluminum cladding, perforated aluminum fin shading elements and integrated metal planters with stainless steel cables for vines. This project plays with the contrast between different metal finishes, textures, and façade integrated vegetation.
BUROMILAN FAÇADE collaborated with MAB Arquitectura to develop the façade details, preliminary element sizing, thermal performance and written specifications throughout Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents phases. The project is currently ongoing.
